Privacy Notice

MyBrandPilot ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Joseph L Bess II. This Notice explains what personal information we collect, why, how it's shared, and the choices you have. It's maintained by the app owner to answer common privacy questions; it is not an independent certification.

Controller

Joseph L Bess II is the data controller for personal information processed through MyBrandPilot. Contact: privacy@mybrandpilot.ai.

Personal information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, hashed password or OAuth identifier (Google), workspace and role.
• Content you provide: project URLs, project settings, prompts, and outputs generated by our AI agents.
• Integration data: when you connect Google Search Console or another integration, we store the connection identifiers and cache selected results (e.g. top search queries, crawled page metadata) as needed to provide the Service.
• Usage & telemetry: log data, feature usage, error reports, IP address, browser/device information.
• Support communications: messages you send us and our responses.
• Billing data: handled by our reseller Paddle (see "Sharing" below); we receive limited transaction metadata (plan, status, dates) but not full card data.

Why we use it

• To create and maintain your account and workspaces (contract).
• To provide the Service — crawl, analyze, and generate strategy outputs (contract).
• To secure the Service, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms (legitimate interests).
• To improve the product and diagnose issues (legitimate interests).
• To send transactional emails about your account and subscription (contract / legitimate interests).
• To send marketing communications where you've opted in (consent), which you can withdraw at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting).

Sharing

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers & subprocessors that host and operate the Service — including our infrastructure hosting provider, our database and authentication provider, and AI model providers used by our agents.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for subscription billing, invoicing, tax compliance, and payment support.
• Connected third parties that you explicitly authorize (e.g. Google Search Console) — only to the extent necessary to provide the integration.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to measure aggregate product usage. Where required, you'll see a cookie consent banner and can manage preferences at any time.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service and to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When you delete a workspace or your account, we delete or anonymize associated content within 30 days, except where retention is required (e.g. billing records).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, row-level authorization, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure; we work to reduce risk continuously.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal information; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@mybrandpilot.ai. We'll respond within one month.

International transfers

Our subprocessors may process data outside your country. Where personal information leaves the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

Children

MyBrandPilot is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
